Island hopping is a perfect weekend outing especially for a group with large number, and it is one good option since it only takes one day despite of the busy schedules. It was February 10, 2013 – The set date for our island hopping as a celebration for my 22 nd birthday with my colleagues and some of our common friends. The banka we we’re renting can accommodate 20 persons, but we we’re only 16 that time. It was 9:00 in the morning when we arrived at Portofino, and went to the port to ride the banka, and it was almost 9:30AM when we sail our way to Olanggo Island . The weather was perfect, the bright sun, the blue sky, the clear water and cool wind which made our day fun.  11:00AM when we sail away to Sulpa Island , the boatmen, offered to cook or sugba our foods (thank you boatmen!), then while we were waiting for the foods, we enjoyed the beach as much as we can - swimming, picture taking and sight seeing, it was almost 1:00PM when we had our lunc

January 27, 2013 – The day where we unexpectedly destined to Malapascua, we were actually about to go home from our overnight at Kalanggaman Island, but the boatmen offered us to pay for an additional fee at a very cheap price for the gas for us to be able to sail our way to Malapascua – this was considered as his (the boatmen) birthday gift to my friend who is actually celebrating her birthday that day, and we accepted the deal, why not? Some of us had never been there, neither I.  We were all very excited. Malapascua Island is a Filipino island situated in the Visayan Sea, located across a shallow strait from the northernmost tip of Cebu Island. Administratively, it is part of the insular barangay of Logon, Daanbantayan Municipality, Cebu Province, the Philippines. Malapascua is a tiny island, only about 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) long and 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) wide, and has eight hamlets. The sea was calm, and we had a smooth travel. As we sail our way going to the island,
