Backpacking: Baguio City

Image
It was January this year, when me and my two friends decided to book a trip to Luzon when we saw Airasia's airfare promo. It was my first time to fly away from Cebu without having my family around with me, because my dad wouldn't allow me before, and I was so happy that he allows me this time around - a dream come true! Going to Ilocos was our main plan, but to make our trip sulit we decided to have a side trip the summer capital of the Philippines - Baguio City, my two friends had been to the place, and it was I who really wanted to go there and because my friends loved me, they added Baguio to our itinerary! I am so happy, the best gift I had for myself - to travel! From Cebu, we arrived at NAIA and before going to Baguio we went to Tagaytay for lunch (see my other blog post) and had our dinner at SM MOA, and went to the Victory Liner bus terminal for the 10pm Baguio Trip. It was 5am when we arrived at Baguio and it was really freezing cold that I could hardly t

The island built for love: Isla Romantica

Image
Located at Cordova, Cebu is a little man-made island called Isla Romantica. It was called Isla Romantica because the island was made with love, Noy Ben (the owner) built the island for many years for his wife. So romantic, isn't it? How to get there? Isla Romantica is located at Brgy. Alegria, Cordova. Once you see the Best Western Sand Bar, you can ride a tricykad going to the site. Noy Ben, would take you to the island through his banca, banca fare is 10.00php/each and you (the whole group) will only pay 100.00php for using the island.   The island has few tables, and there is no cr and electricity. So before going to the island be sure to bring all the needed stuff like foods, drinks, grilling equipments and other necessary things. Noy Ben, the owner of the island, bringing the other tourist to the island through his banca. The surroundings Yours truly :)

Lantaw Native Restaurant - SRP

Food is always on my list during weekends. I love pigging out with my friends, trying new stuffs, and exploring new places. I'd never been to Lantaw since it started, in Cordova neither at Busay. Never had a chance because it's quiet far from my place, that's why when Lantaw in SRP opens, I never missed the chance to try out the place.  It was my friend's birthday and I suggested her to celebrate it at Lantaw SRP. The place is good, but I suggest that you should booked reservations first before going to the place during weekends because there are many people dining in. The foods are delicious and the price is worth it!   With my colleagues The place Our menu
