Backpacking: Baguio City

It was January this year, when me and my two friends decided to book a trip to Luzon when we saw Airasia's airfare promo. It was my first time to fly away from Cebu without having my family around with me, because my dad wouldn't allow me before, and I was so happy that he allows me this time around - a dream come true!

Going to Ilocos was our main plan, but to make our trip sulit we decided to have a side trip the summer capital of the Philippines - Baguio City, my two friends had been to the place, and it was I who really wanted to go there and because my friends loved me, they added Baguio to our itinerary! I am so happy, the best gift I had for myself - to travel!

From Cebu, we arrived at NAIA and before going to Baguio we went to Tagaytay for lunch (see my other blog post) and had our dinner at SM MOA, and went to the Victory Liner bus terminal for the 10pm Baguio Trip. It was 5am when we arrived at Baguio and it was really freezing cold that I could hardly talk and took pictures. And because we we're freezing and had realized that we had many things with us we decided to check in at Ferioni so that we could put our things and rest for awhile.

Here are some of my photos from my Baguio Trip:
The Mansion
The Wright Park is located just right near The Mansion
Mines View Park, the place has many shops where you could buy pasalubongs
At Mines View Park and this picture with the horse is not for free. HAHA
The igorots at the Botanical Garden, you pay 10php to each of them for taking photos.
Enjoying this famous ride at the Burnham Park, and I find it so hard to paddle the banka

And after our whole day trip, we went to SM Baguio for our dinner and went to the bus terminal for our Ilocos Norte tour. It was such a wonderful trip. Thank you Baguio City!
