The Beauty of Gigantes Island

The group of islands and islets, popularly known as Islas de Gigantes or Gigantes Islands is located in the Municipality of Carles and the northernmost part of the Province of Iloilo. Gigantes Island is consist of about ten islands, and the two largest are the Gigantest Norte (North Gigantes) and Gigantes Sur (South Gigantes).


The islands are blessed with white sand beaches and crystal clear waters and is also known as the scallop capital of the Philippines.

slas de Gigantes are the Cabugao Gamay, Cabugay Daku, Balbagon, Waydahun, Bulubadiang, Bantigue, Gigantillo, Gakitgakit, Gigantona and Ojatras.

Cabugao Gamay
- the famous selfie and most photographed island in Gigantes.



Tangke Saltwater Lagoon - a hidden lagoon with a natural saltwater pool with a beautiful formations of limestone.


Bantigue Sandbar - has the longest sandbar in Gigantes Island.


Palupandan Island - a melancholic island with its lonely coconut tree - the sole survivor of Yolanda's wrath.


Antonia Beach - There are so many activities you can do in this famous and beautiful island. This is where you can enjoy a banana boat ride, snorkeling, climb up the weirdly slanted karst formations.



Mini Boracay - Its original name is Calumpang. A perfect spot for cliff jumping and swimming.
